Where are the world’s best sunsets?

I recently wrote a short piece about sunsets for an Observer published book on summer. The reason I was asked to write this article is because Gurnard on the Isle of Wight, a place I often visit, is commonly voted as having some of the world’s best sunsets.

I spent the weekend just gone on the Isle of Wight, and was lucky enough to see yet another gorgeous Gurnard sunset that I want to share with you. I’ve also decided to share a few of my other favourite sunset photos that I’ve taken, and looking back am surprised to discover that many of them were taken here in the UK.
